There are some things in life where you are more than capable of doing things yourself, however Fitness and Nutrition are very complex areas and can be quite confusing to follow. One of the most popular reasons for joining the gym is for weight loss, people think or are under the illusion that in order to lose weight they must do cardio 3 or 4 times a week, but only if it was that simple.
The alternative is to have a fully qualified personal trainer who already
knows the best way to help YOU reach your goal. It is a known fact that
having a personal trainer you can get all the relevant nutritional information
and motivation.
How To Choose A Personal Trainer
When choosing a personal trainer, there are 3 areas to consider -
Qualifications and Knowledge
Level 3 is the highest qualification a personal trainer can have in the UK. YMCA is one of the most recognised governing body for this qualification and is recognised world wide.
A good personal trainer will be hapy to talk aboutyour goals and targets
before registering or signing you up to their programme. At this time
you will be given the opportunity to listen and make judgement on whether
they are the personal trainer for you and you will alo be able to establish
whether they have a good knowledge base of the Health and Fitness Industry.
Also, ask around, especially if the trainer works for a gym or health
spa.
Personal application of knowledge
Does the trainer practise what they preach? Ask them about their own lifestyle and take a good look. Does the trainer have a good physique and posture? Are they in to any sports? Do they have a good diet?
Personality
Building a good rapport and gaining trust of your personal trainer is a very important key as to a certain point they will govern almost everything you do. Your trainer must also have a personality and drive that motivates you and they also need to be honest with you when it counts. If a trainer tells you what you want to hear, in return you will waste a lot of time and money.
You want a trainer that fits the descriptions given and this is exactly what Stu-nique Fitness is about... YOU.
